How to update your login email, reset your password via Stytch, and control which alert emails Augrented sends you.

Changing your email, password and notification preferences

Your Augrented account is managed through Stytch, the authentication platform that handles login, password resets, and email changes. Here's how to update your account settings.


Changing your email address

  1. Go to Account → Profile (or /account/settings)
  2. Click Edit next to your current email
  3. Enter the new email address
  4. You'll receive a verification link at the new address — click it to confirm

Your existing watch lists, saved searches, and billing history carry over to the new email.

If you signed up via Google or Apple SSO, your email is managed through that provider's account settings. To change it, update your email in your Google or Apple account.


Resetting your password

  1. Go to the Login page and click Forgot password?
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your inbox for a password reset link from Stytch
  4. Click the link and enter a new password

Password reset links expire after 60 minutes. If yours expires, start the process again.

For security reasons, Augrented support cannot reset your password for you — only the Stytch password reset flow can change it.

Password requirements

  • At least 8 characters
  • No common or previously breached passwords (Stytch checks against known compromised passwords)

Managing notification preferences

Go to Account → Notifications to control which emails Augrented sends you.

Alert emails

Setting What it controls
Building watch alerts Emails when new violations, permits, or complaints are filed on watched buildings
Home building alerts Enhanced notifications for your designated home building
Nearby activity alerts Activity within 150m of watched buildings
Weekly digest (If available) A summary of all new activity across your watch list

Marketing and product emails

Setting What it controls
Product updates New features, city expansions, and major changes
Tips and guides Occasional emails about how to use the data
Newsletter Housing market trends and tenant rights news

All marketing emails include an Unsubscribe link at the bottom. Unsubscribing from marketing will not affect alert emails about your watched buildings.


Updating billing information

Billing information — payment method, billing address, and tax ID — is managed through the Stripe billing portal, not your Augrented account settings.

Go to Account → Billing and click Manage subscription to: - Update your card on file - Change your billing address - View and download invoices


Deleting your account

To delete your Augrented account and all associated data:

  1. Go to Account → Profile
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page
  3. Click Delete account
  4. Confirm the deletion

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. This removes: - Your profile and login credentials - Saved searches and watch lists - Review history - Any stored preferences

Note: Purchased credits are non-refundable upon account deletion.

If you have an active subscription, cancel it first through the billing portal before deleting your account.
