67 Bergen Street is a 3-story, 13-unit Old Law Tenement building located in Brooklyn's Cobble Hill neighborhood, built in 1920 and currently owned by Frank Defalco. The building has experienced several significant maintenance issues over the past few years, with the most notable cluster of problems occurring in March 2022 when multiple complaints were filed regarding rodent problems (with a mouse sighting reported), asbestos concerns, lack of heat and hot water throughout the building, and issues with an electric/gas range. The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene conducted inspections during this period, finding no violations related to the rodent complaint while issuing a letter regarding the asbestos concern.

In September 2020, there was a concerning series of electrical problems including multiple reports of no lighting and power outages, along with paint/plaster issues involving ceilings. While some inspections found no violations, others resulted in the inspectors being unable to gain access to the apartments for verification. On a positive note, the building has maintained a clean record regarding bedbugs, with no infestations reported in any of the nine annual filings since 2018. A rodent inspection in April 2022 passed, though this was subsequent to the initial rodent complaint.
