The building has experienced significant recent issues, most notably a series of power outages in March 2025 that prompted multiple emergency HPD complaints, along with heat and hot water problems, water leaks, mold, safety concerns regarding smoke detectors, door issues, flooring problems, and an appliance malfunction.

These incidents occurred during a period of apparent construction activity, as indicated by multiple Construction Enforcement Work Orders in March-April 2025, including a Partial Vacate Order and a Full Vacate Order related to building shaking/vibrating and structural stability concerns.
