1573 41st Street is a two-story, four-unit New Law tenement building located in Borough Park and owned by Sarah Friedman. The building has been in operation since 1930 and has experienced several significant issues over the past few years. Most notably, in January 2020, there was a serious and persistent heat and hot water system failure that generated multiple emergency complaints and violations, with several inspections required through January 27, 2020.

These heating system problems prompted multiple 311 service requests and housing maintenance code complaints during that month. The building has several open violations from recent years that warrant attention.
