The building has undergone several significant maintenance and safety improvements over the past decades, including a voluntary seismic upgrade and foundation repair in 1995, and rat proofing of the basement in 1990.

A notable fire incident occurred in 1994-1995 requiring repairs to drywall, plumbing, and electrical systems. More recently, in July 2023, the building underwent plumbing work to replace the house trap. The property has experienced several regulatory interventions, most notably in 2006 when multiple violations were documented regarding gas shutoff tools, gas meter diagrams, egress obstructions, and platform repairs - all of which were abated by June 2006.
