Initial analysis

The two-unit, two-story multi-family residential building at 1665-1667 Leavenworth Street in Nob Hill, owned by Benny & Susan Leong Survivo, was constructed in 1907 and includes a flat with retail space. The building's maintenance history shows several significant issues, particularly regarding unsafe roof conditions in early 2012, when complaints were filed about unsecured furniture, potential overload concerns, and lack of safety barriers on what was reportedly being used as an unpermitted rooftop deck. These violations were formally addressed and abated between February and March 2012. Historical records from 1984 indicate window improvements were completed, and there was an expired permit from 1985 for garage remodeling work.

More recent concerns about the building's surroundings have emerged between 2023-2024, with numerous reports (seven instances) of garbage and debris on the street, three of which involved bagged garbage, yard waste, or general debris that required cleaning. Additional incidents include reports of excessive noise (2024), an abandoned vehicle (2024), and other street cleaning issues. While these external cleanliness concerns have been consistently addressed and resolved through municipal services, they represent an ongoing pattern in the immediate vicinity of the building. Interestingly, a "motor vehicle accident with no injuries" incident was recorded, though no specific date or further details were provided in the available data.

Mold and mildew water intrustion=visible mold---we have ventilation issues and high humidity so mold has grown on our items. we had the landlord have someone check it out, but she won't share the results with us so i want to get a second opinion if possible. she can't confirm whether the mold is int eh walls, or if it's just on our items. i have been displaced without knowing when or how the environment will be healthy to live in again.
