The two-unit residential building at 1941-1943 Jackson Street in Pacific Heights, owned by the Trust of Steven Eisenberg, was constructed in 1912 as a two-story flats and duplex structure. The building's maintenance history shows several significant repairs in 2001, including multiple bathroom renovations (with costs ranging from $500 to $4,500), stucco repairs completed at a cost of $1,200, and roofing work performed in 1996.

More recently, between December 2024 and January 2025, there has been an ongoing issue with garbage and debris on the property, with multiple reports of overflowing city garbage cans being documented and resolved by Recology. The building has experienced numerous fire safety-related incidents, with nine recorded activation events between 2007 and the present, including smoke detector activations, alarm system activations, and one electrical wiring issue in 2007.
