The building has undergone two significant permitted modifications in its history: the installation of aluminum windows in 1992 and a reroofing project in 1990, though both permits have since expired.

The most noteworthy event in the building's history occurred in April 2001, when multiple fire safety violations were documented during a routine housing inspection. These violations included egress obstructions, issues with smoke enclosure door closers, an uncharged fire extinguisher, combustible storage concerns, and the lack of a gas utility shutoff tool - all of which were classified as fire safety-related or other section violations.

However, all these violations were officially abated by May 31, 2001. A subsequent routine inspection in 2009 also took place, though no violations were recorded in that instance.
