The two-unit, two-story multi-family residential building at 842 31st Avenue in the Central Richmond neighborhood, owned by George L. and Ann L. Young, has experienced several notable events since 2019.

Most recently, in May 2023, there were issues with tree roots damaging the sidewalk and a curb defect, with the latter still showing as an open case.
