The two-story, four-unit TIC building at 1105-1107 Stanyan Street, owned by Lisa Zamarin, was constructed in 1907 and has undergone several significant renovations over the past decades. Most recently, in October 2014, five Marvin wood windows were installed in street-facing locations, and the building has experienced recurring issues with garbage overflow during late 2024-early 2025, with ten documented incidents of city garbage cans overflowing between December 21, 2024 and January 11, 2025.

A substantial renovation project was completed in 2008, costing $84,000, involving the remodeling of four kitchens and six bathrooms across the building, including electrical upgrades (200 switches, 100 receptacles, and a 200-amp service panel upgrade), plumbing modifications (new pipes, sinks, faucets, and heaters), and the installation of two direct vent gas inserts into existing fireplaces. The building had a notable safety-related incident in 2002, when multiple fire safety violations were documented and subsequently abated by January 2003, including issues with smoke enclosure doors, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and security measures.

While there were plans in 2008 to enhance fire safety through the construction of fire-resistance walls and automatic sprinklers in exit stairways, these permits were ultimately cancelled. Other historical records show a reroofing project from 1994 and sheet metal work completed in the garbage room in 1985. The most recent planning record from 2024 confirms the replacement of four street-facing windows with double-hung wood windows with ogee lugs, though this work appears to be already completed based on the 2014 permit.
