2022-04-08 00:00:00+00:002022-07-13 00:00:00+00:00Housing Inspection ServicesI live in a fourplex. for the 10 years i have lived here, the landlord never provided maintenance to the building. many years ago i called the city and they did a supervision visit. the landlord currently has not even kept the fire extinguisher up to date. the last service was 2019. the pipes have visible signs of leaking. i have been told that probably my bathroom has asbestos since this is an old building. a lot of things are blocking the back exit towards the street. in 10 years the landlord has never ever send a cleaning crew to clean common walls etc. they only do necessary repairs inside the units but not even check the lightbulbs in the common areas. i noticed how the other buildings in the same street constantly are doing maintenance. i think an inspection is needed.
