2021-01-26 00:00:00+00:002021-03-10 00:00:00+00:00Building Inspection DivisionRoughly 11 years ago, apartment 4 was converted from a one-bedroom to 2 bedroom unit. this expansion was done by adding a wall in the living room. the landlord, also demolished the original bedroom wall to create an open space. the new tenants have been a nuisance to us as we have not had a peaceful night since they came in. the tenants¿ problem exposes the construction concern we have been complaining about between the two floors. mr. kang had requested that we move upstairs so that he can also change apartment 2, a request to which i refused. we would like you to look into the possibility that the stated apartment was built without following the required procedures. mr. kang is careless and always known for not following the law of construction. a case in point was apartment 5, where mr. kang added two walls to create a tiny two-bedroom after receiving the final approval for a studio apartment.
