Risk rating

How 107-109 17Th Ave's risk score is calculated

The story over time

107-109 17Th Ave event timeline

Violations, complaints, fire incidents, permits, and buyouts — most recent records in order.

2024
DBI Complaint Nov 08
The projection area to the west from the main part of the deck with the firewall is 29" from the property line and not the required 36". the code says 36" from the property line. it does not say from a fence or somewhere else. the railing projection past the firewall is less than 12" from the property line and it also does not have a firewall between it and the property line. this part of the firewall (12-18") is not continuous to grade as stated on the plans i saw. the 2nd floor firewall on the deck was simply added on top of the roof and the 1st floor existing firewall is not in the same vertical plane as the firewall on the deck so there is a break in the firewall with the old existing roof overhang which is not a firewall.
