Date last observed: 29-dec-12; identity of person performing the work: bo lim and elaine seto- landlo; floor: garage le; unit: door close; exact location: in-law unit; building type: residence/dwelling no heat; fire safety/fire escape; illegal unit; mold; ; additional information: i lived in the unit for 3 years without heat. there is a dryer that is not properly ventilated in the hallway next to the entrance to the unit. when in use, the condensation from the dryer creates extremely moist walls outside of the unit and this wet air also enters the unit as it is not air-tight from the hallway. as a result, mold grew inside the closet and on multiple walls of the unit. i cleaned up this visible mold regularly; however, i still experienced health problems. when there are rain storms, water leaks in the hallway next to the unit. this leak is after the dryer but before the unit. also, a few months before i moved out, the landlord created a makeshift storage unit in th |
