09/16/14 Building Inspection Division The caller is reporting what she is calling questionable construction going on in the building. there is a soft story retrofit occurring, that is supposed to be by ryan construction. however, the caller states this is false because some of the workers doing the earthquake soft story work are handymen that are simultaneously working on a retrofit of a unit above the caller's. from the renovation happening above, the workers are throwing debris out of the 3rd story window on the guerrero st side into a dump truck below. yesterday, a sink they threw into the truck had a piece break off and hit and injure her boyfriend. this dump truck was parked on the sidewalk, blocking the front door to the building. today, there was a harbor cement truck that had tubes going from the truck across the sidewalk and into the building. the caller took a photograph of a mother with a child trying to get over the tubes that she is willing to email if needed. she is requesting inspection on saturday, 09-13-1 Not Active 201494571
