The four-unit, two-story multi-family residential building at 435 Utah Street in Potrero Hill, owned by Leo & Angelina Costello Family, was constructed in 1929 and has undergone several significant maintenance and improvement projects over the years. Most recently, a report from February 2024 indicated issues with peeling lead paint on the south side of the building.

The property has maintained its infrastructure with a completed reroofing project in 2015 costing $23,200, following a previous reroofing in 1993, and a window upgrade from wood to aluminum frames completed in 1993.
