2023-05-05T00:00:00.000Z remove and properly dispose severely peeling and flaking paint at exterior to prevent a lead hazard and apply a new weather proofing paint. see attached lead hazard warning. (703 & 1301 sfhc) the front and sides of the main building that is visible from the street elevation, as well as the street facing rear accessory structure, the paint around the the wood shingles and wood trim areas has weathered, blistered and peeled to a level that undermines the weather proofing of the structure and present a lead paint hazard. this structure at 1466 thomas av is a pre-1979 building and so this paint debris is presumed to contain lead. your are to follow the established protocol, as outlined, remove and repair or replace any dry rotted siding, shingles or trim. stabilize, prep, prime and paint the peeling areas of the structure. if siding/shingles is to be replaced a building permit and corresponding inspections for sign-off is required. see attached lead hazard warning. provide notification to residents 1001d, k sfhc, 327.5.6 sfebc provide signage during work 1001d, k sfhc , 327.5.4 sfebc restrict access to the work area 1001d, k sfhc , 327.4.1 sfebc provide containment and barrier systems 1001d, k sfhc , 327.4.2 sfebc protect the ground from debris 1001d, k sfhc , 327.4.2.1 sfebc prevent migration of debris 1001d, k sfhc, 327.4.3 sfebc provide weather protection 703, 1001d, h3, 1301 sfhc building sectionnot active
