2019-04-02T00:00:00.000Z this notice includes violations for the areas noted. routine safety inspection of public and common areas at 541 - 547 linden street. chapters 1, 2, & 3 of the san francisco housing code require that the department of building inspection perform periodic health & safety inspections of residential property. this routine inspection was conducted to assure that all requirements have been met per attached routine inspection checklist. a. recharge / service all fire extinguishers type '2a 10bc' or equivalent.(905, 1001(n)hc) all fire extinguishers are required to be recharged and serviced annually and service date tag must be current and posted by a qualified professional vendor. b. remove egress obstruction from back stairs (801,1001(l) hc) rearrange furniture to maintain unobstructed path to the egress steps. remove or reroute water hose around and at the bottom of egress steps (tripping hazard). c. secure loose and detached copper pipe (1001f - hc) by gate at top of steps. also remove the bench that is preventing the gate from swinging all the way to 90 degrees. d. replace damaged security (motion sensor light) above front steps. (1001 hc) also provide adequate lighting at back steps due to the steps' configurations and low ceiling height. building sectionnot active
