2024-09-27T00:00:00.000Z provide a lead abatement clearance report 1001d, k sfhc, 327.4.4.2 sfebc the paint crew was advised to enhance their barriers to mitigate the debris migration from their worksite to the neighboring property. the notice of violation states: item 2 - to continue work as currently conducted, provide certification from a qualified lead testing laboratory to show the debris has no lead base. without this clearance report you shall comply with the balance of this notice of violation. discontinue use of orbital sanders, scrapers and any other mechanical means of removing paint unless attached to a hepa filtered vacuum system. item 6 - the containment system in place at the time of inspection was inadequate to contain all paint chips, debris and dust. the netting tied to the scaffold is insufficient to close all gaps. the wind has opened these areas further. establish and maintain the required containment and barrier systems. item 7 - any person performing exterior work shall protect the ground from contamination by work debris by laying 6 mil visquene on all horizontal surfaces extending at least 10 feet beyond the work area. item 8 - once containment barriers and ground protection are in place, establish a restricted work area using 6 mil visquene providing full containment to prevent the migration of work debris outside the work area. scheduled re-inspection dates have not been honored for the inspector to view these enhancements. the original complainant states that the migration persists, daily. the inspector has no evidence it does not persist. at the conclusion of this paint work you are required to provide certification from a qualified lead testing laboratory to show that all lead based debris has been removed. hire a third party abatement crew to perform the lead abatement at 1684, 1686 and 1688. once complete have a second abatement crew provide lead testing to show that no lead debris has been left behind. this complaint will not be closed without this clearance report. building sectionnot active
