2023-12-08 00:00:00+00:00NoneHousing Inspection ServicesCaller stated: this apartment has inadequate heating. we sent a notice back in may to the landlord but nothing has happened. it does not go up or maintain 70 degree. the window whose frame is molded and is contributing the lack of insolation so it makes the room colder. we also sent the window situation to the landlord and he responded he would do something in the summer but it is now winter and nothing has happened. the landlord seems to be confused because there was other issue with the heater and he fixed that but it seems like he forgot about the inadequate of the heater. recently 11/28 had visit from pge services they discovered there is issue with gas and the heating system needs to be replaced not repaired. this is the second time that we informed the landlord the heater needs a replacement on top of the repair. caller has emails for evidence if you need. caller requested if possible please send inspector after sunset so you can see how cold the place gets Active View on DBI
