The building has undergone regular routine inspections of common areas from 2005 through 2014, with the most recent notable event being a sink removal from the bathroom reported in December 2014.

Security modifications were made in late 2000 to install a 135-degree viewer on the entry door of unit 1727, which was completed within one month of the violation notice. The building has experienced several fire-related incidents, including one intentional building fire, carbon monoxide-related incidents, a gas leak, and an alarm system malfunction, though thankfully none resulted in civilian injuries.

A fire extinguisher-related complaint in March 2018 was found to have no merit.
