The building experienced a significant fire incident in early 2022, originating in the middle unit, which resulted in approximately $250,000 worth of repairs including electrical damage remediation, siding replacement, and extensive drywall work covering around 2,500 square feet. This fire incident necessitated additional work on the building's infrastructure, including a complete roof replacement and repairs to roof framing, though initial reroofing permits for this $48,000 project were cancelled.

More recent improvements to the building's systems include three electrical upgrades in late 2022 and early 2023, involving the replacement of Stab-Lok panels, installation of a new 100-amp subpanel, and kitchen circuit enhancements. The property has undergone various maintenance works over the years, including water heater replacements in 2015 and 2017, and a sewer trap replacement in 2012. A concerning issue has emerged in early 2024 regarding two tall eucalyptus trees near the property, with reports of branch collapse during storms, though this complaint is currently marked as not active. The site has experienced some ongoing infrastructure-related issues, as evidenced by multiple 311 calls throughout 2024 regarding tree maintenance, garbage collection, and sewer concerns, with several cases remaining open or in resolution status. The building's balcony repairs were addressed in 2017 due to extensive framing concerns, representing the property's commitment to maintaining structural integrity.

Somebody needs to go and inspect the sump pump at the location. it has spilled sewage and they have not replaced the pump for 50 years or more. i don't believe there is a basin underneath it to hold any overflow or it wouldn't have flowed into my property. there are also 8 submersibles in the empty lot behind my property. when they replace them sewage flowed onto my lot and property.
